I don't know about you, but I've found that getting up and out to go for a run or to get to the gym for a workout is just ‘a little harder’ than it was 10 years ago.
I remember getting in a ‘30 day fitness program’ about 20 years ago and it was one of my best investments – EVER!

We needed a new phone line in our new office and the phone company gave us an 8am -1pm timeslot. We were either there on time or that was it – another heaven knows how long until we could get another slot…
So the night before, I had everything ready, and I was up like a shot as soon as my alarm went off and racing to the station. I wasn’t leaving anything to CHANCE, I had to get there on time…
And that’s when it HIT me… The X factor!
I had recently been telling myself how much busier and more hectic life had become and how little time I had to get certain things done…I’m sure you know what I mean.
But on my way in that day, I realised that if something is CRUCIAL enough we find or make the time and we do our best be ready.
So if you’ve been having a hard time getting some CRUCIAL things done, schedule them for first thing in the morning and follow these 3 SIMPLE TIPS…
The night before:
1-Get your stuff ready – whether it’s your running gear or gym clothes, important paperwork, cake ingredients etc. It doesn’t matter, just get it ready so you can crack on the moment you get up
2-Mentally review your objective for about a minute before you turn in for the night
The next day:
3- DO NOT hit the snooze button when your alarm goes off. Don’t even think about it. Get up and get on IMMEDIATELY.
